Dice For Making Up Stories

Roll the dice and let your imagination. Create different stories with characters, animals, objects and actions shown on the dice.
Objective:
To foster language development and structuring. It helps children to learn
the notion of time through the sequencing of stories, while developing
active listening skills.
Throw the dice and let your imagination run wild, creating stories from the
characters, animals, objects and actions appearing on the dice.
Suggestions for use:
– Use more or less dice, depending on the age of the children.
– To make it easier for the children to make up their stories, we suggest that
at least one of the dice used has characters (dice showing emotions,
professions or fantasy characters).
– Each die introduces different concepts: emotions, animals, transportation,
food, weather, fantasy characters, professions, places, houses or acts, varied
elements, behaviour and aggressiveness.
– The last two contexts – behaviour and aggressiveness – are optional. They
can be of use for the professional when working with children having
behavioral problems.
