PEDAGOGICAL OBJECTIVES
A game of ASSOCIATION which helps to develop:
– The ability to identify, group and classify the different people.
– The capacity for attention and observation at an early age.
– Oral expression through describing the people and inventing stories about them.
– Memory.
– Visual-motor coordination through handling the cards.
ACTIVITIES
Association:
– With the cards placed face-upwards in the centre of the table, each player should pick up and place in
his/her bus the people who have the same differentiating element as the one on the side of his/her bus.
Memory:
– With the cards placed face-downwards in the centre of the table, each player, in order, should turn over
one card. If the person is wearing/carrying the differentiating element that matches his bus, he can pick it
up and place in the bus; if not, he should turn it over again in the same place and the turn passes to the
next player.
Language
– Each player chooses a person and describes them, saying whether it’s a boy or a girl, a child or an adult,
what differentiating element they are wearing /carrying, what kind of clothes they are wearing, etc.
– With the cards placed face-upwards around the table, a player makes a description of one of the people.
The other players have to listen and observe attentively to be the first to identify and pick up the card of
the person he/she is talking about.
– Once the bus has been filled with its 6 passengers, each player invents a story that links them together.
– A player selects various people with different elements at random and invents a story relating them.
– Each player chooses a person and invents a short story about them which should then be picked up and
continued by another player involving another person.
